Gearing choices
So, Ive got a 90cc 4 speed in my CT. ... so that if I go through a mudpit, Theres enough torque to spin the wheel and get me out of it. a 16 year old mechanic's current projects: 1972 Ford Cortina 2.0l. Blue 1974 Honda CT70 90cc 1975 Yamaha DT 175 Enduro Homeade briggs&stratton go kart ... Other than that, I've always had to "trial and error" my way through settling on gearing that works best and I totally unfamiliar with what a ct70 with 90cc and 4spd would feel like.

Is the inserted boot specific to certain years or motors 4 speed/3 speed? Attached Images. File Type: jpg ... Once you replaced it with a new one it starved the engine for the airflow that the carb is jetted for. It was running lean.

I want to make it easily keep up with my wife and daughters Metropolitans.. He wants 850 for it. That feels like ALL the money to me... unless the candy yellow is a harder to find color.

Which to buy?
So my dad and I have been looking at some ct70's with the posibility of a resoration. I really dont have ... I really dont have the money to do a complete restoration to make it a show bike, but hopefully will have the cash left over to get the essentials (lights working, engine tuned up ect.) So far ... With this forun and the many Honda parts you can get for these bikes there is no reason for not being able fix the worst one. ... If you just want to ride I would pick either KO or K1.
